AA Murakami: Silent Fall
Superblue made its European debut at London's Royal Academy with a new immersive work by artistic duo AA Murakami. Silent Fall transformed the Burlington Gardens space into a forest of mechanical trees that emitted scented mist-filled bubbles. Guests of all ages could interact with the installation by popping bubbles as they explored, or use special gloves to cradle and bounce them.
This installation was part of AA Murakami's groundbreaking 'Ephemeral Tech' series, which merges technology and engineering with ephemeral materials, resulting in ethereal environments where the line between natural forces and technology is blurred.
Due to overwhelming demand, the exhibition was extended for an additional three months.
